Schools have officially started this month! For me, I just started today. My school is later in the school run, I know, but I was able to get a quick glimpse at what the latest trends are here in Utah for the coming season. Recently I wrote a short article about my personal top ten mens wear fashion bloggers to watch this fall, and after seeing the goods and the fails of the new school season, I realized it was time to do the same for woman’s wear!
Girls, if you haven’t done your school shopping yet because you wanted to get a vibe from the other trend setters this new school season, look no further. Before you start vibing that one girl in your art history class with neon harem pants that you’re pretty sure she may have bought from Gymboree,
Lookin good girl
You should check out my personal top 10 favorite women’s wear fashion bloggers to watch this fall.
1. Lua Perez
Lua Perez is hands down my favorite woman fashion blogger right now. She gives off the rocker chick look, but still keeps it classy and down to earth. I’ve always been the tom-boy kind of girl, and sometimes it can be hard to mix hardcore chick with fashion without looking like I bought my entire closet from Hot Topic or that I’m still in middle school. For you girls out there that love to rock hard but still like to keep it classy, you NEED to check out Lua’s blog. What’s even better about her blog, is she wants to help you achieve the look! She tells you where she bought everything, and if it’s too pricey, she tells you where to buy something just like it.
Eliska is all about comfort, and that’s why I love her. Fall and winter are my favorite seasons with fashion because of one thing, LAYERING. And what’s more comfortable than being able to layer everything? Eliska focuses on the comfort and beauty of an outfit and gives you a reason to stop wearing your pajama bottoms to class. Instead of looking like you just got out of bed, how bout you check out Eliska’s blog to see how to look beautiful in your comfiest clothes. Bonus: She’s also a huge fitness blogger, so if you’re looking for some tips on how to be more active, you definitely should check out her blog.
Juliett is another fashion blogger that I’m absolutely in love with and have been following for a while. I’ve lived in Utah for about 19 years now, and a trend I’ve noticed with Utah fashion is that we don’t compete with other woman to be sexy or give off any type of sex appeal, we compete with other woman to be cute. It can be tough to dress in Utah as a woman, because if you’re too far on either side of the sexy/cute scale, you just end up looking like a fool. Juliett is able to mix those two together perfectly in her blog. You still show up the competition in Utah for looking cute, but you also have that sex-appeal that makes you feel like a powerful beautiful woman. I’m talkin Beyonce powerful, girl.
Flawless
Anouska is sexy and casual. She can easily throw on a pair of jeans and a t-shirt and still make it look fashionable. She also follows one of my favorite laws of fashion. Always. Go. BLACK. Another reason I choose Anouska for this list, is that she’s very modest and simple, which I feel is a big and good thing with the fashion in Utah. Just like her style, her blog is simple and easy to follow along. Bonus: just like Eliska, she focuses a lot on fitness as well, so check out her blog to see her latest work out routine.
I love featuring some of my favorite local fashion lovers, because there’s a lot of good ones close to home! Utah definitely has a unique style, and sometimes it can be hard to mix Utah with the rest of the world, but Lauren does it perfectly. She’s simple, modest, and has a fun style overall. Check out her blog to see her latest outfits and even see where she gets a lot of her inspiration!
6. Alexandra J
Alexandra is another local blogger that definetly has her own style that stands out from a crowd. Though she’s more of a pencil artist than fashion blogger, she definitely has her own artistic style that can turn heads in the best way possible. Her blog is more about her art and her fashion inspirations, but I think she’s a great fashion icon to look towards this fall.
I love, love, love Ashleigh’s style. It’s very unique and has that vintage look to it. Her outfits are extremely simple as well, you don’t have to go far and wide to find something to match her style, in fact, you probably already have a lot of her ideas in your closet already! Ashleigh gives you a new ways to put all those pieces together to create a hip and sexy look to your everyday outfit. What’s even better? Her job is to literally give you “fashion consultation”, and boy, is she doing her job right! Check out her blog to see if you need her “fashion consultation” to help you out this fall.
8. Kate Stoltz
Anyone that knows Kate Stoltz might be surprised that I put her on this list, considering she’s more of a model than a fashion blogger. But for those of you that don’t know, Kate Stoltz is famous for breaking free from her Amish community, leaving her family and loved ones behind to pursue a modeling career in New York in the hit TV show “Breaking Amish”. But apart from that, she’s actually really good at throwing an outfit together, and even creating them with her bare hands! She uses her Instagram as a sort of fashion blog, but she also has her own line of clothing that she puts up on Etsy that you can easily purchase. I think that’s pretty cool, and extremely unique. Check out her Instagram and her shop to see for yourself.
9. Ganna Pysar
Ganna Pysar is HARD. CORE. FASHION. I mean REAL fashion, she’s not messing around. I thought she’d be a unique and different fashion icon to add to this list, in case anyone is curious or wants to express themselves in this way. Her blog is short, and includes much more than just fashion, but she definitely gets the point across that she means business, and she knows what she’s doing. Check out her blog portfolio to see what I mean.
10. Viktoriya Sener
I feel like Viktoriya is a great fashion blogger to end this list with. The past couple bloggers, I got a little extreme and figured that Viktoriya is a great way to smoothly end it. Viktoriya kinda breaks away from my ALWAYS BLACK rule, but she does it with class and sophistication. She adds color in places that I didn’t realize color could be added in such a beautiful way. She has an adorable style and really brings together all the different pieces in her outfits.Check out her blog to see the lovely colors and collaborations she brings in with each outfit.
That’s it for my top 10 favorite women’s wear fashion bloggers to watch this fall! Let me know what you think, did you like all these bloggers? Do you think I have absolute horrible taste? Are you surprised I didn’t add your favorite to the list? Let me and all the other readers know in the comments, and let’s all help each other out this fall season and bring Utah out of the 90’s and back into the 21st century.
Definitely don’t miss those shoes
