Artists You Need on Your Driving Playlist

Artists You Need On Your Driving Playlist

We all love to listen to good tunes while driving on the road, so we decided to put together some of our favorite artists for the perfect music playlist. Instead of sticking to some of the classics like The Beatles or Queen, we decided to share a few little known artists to help you expand your music palate.

1. Chad Valley

Chad Valley is an electric recording artist and singer that will have you daydreaming during a long drive. His song, Shell Suite, will make you feel like you’re driving in the sunset and have a beautiful life. What more could you want from a drive?

2. Randy Houser

You can never go wrong with some good old country music, especially when taking long road trips in your car. You may recognize Randy Houser’s most popular song Anything Goes since it was one of BIllboard Country’s Top 20 singles in 2008. Warning: when listening to Randy Houser, you will make necessary pit stops at a local dude ranch to experience the cowboy lifestyle.

3. Alabama Shakes

Alabama Shakes is a roots rock band that will have your head bobbing and your thumb tapping on the steering wheel. The main singer, Brittany Howard, is known for her deep soulful voice and most importantly her “bass face”. If you’ve never learned how to play the air guitar, we suggest you learn fast because they’re looking for a new member for their classic song “Hold On”.

4. Ray LaMontagne

Sometimes you just need to sing about your troubles after a long day of work, and Ray LaMontagne is the perfect person to sing along with. His most popular song, Let It Be Me, will have you wiping away tears. We won’t be surprised if this gem makes you pour your heart out to your loved ones once you get home.

5. James Bay

You’ll probably want to invest in a fedora style hat after you purchase his first album, Chaos and The Calm. James Bay has the magical power of getting you to relive your most memorable experiences with an old love. Have you ever gone through a hurtful breakup that you still need to get off your chest? Check out his song Scars to feel the pain and shake it off in one simple drive.
