Kick Bad Habits Out In Just 5 Days By Shocking Yourself With a Small Band

For the First Time, Users of the Pavlok Wristband Can Shock Themselves Whenever Tempted to Act Upon a Bad Habit in a New and Inventive Way

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah — November 28, 2015 — Today Pavlok has announced their new wristband that shocks you whenever you are tempted to act upon a bad habit. Based off of Pavlov’s Law, the shock will train your brain to find the habit as an uncomfortable experience. For example, if a person is trying to quit eating sugar or a smoking habit and would like to break the habit of temptation, they can use the Pavlok wristband. The shock trains your reptile brain to no longer enjoy the flavor of sugar or to no longer want to smoke cigarettes.

Founder and inventor, Maneesh Sethi, says he came up with the idea after learning about Pavlov’s Law and decided to test it out on himself. “I used to have a deep tortilla chip addiction” says Sethi, “for five days I committed to the Pavlok wristband by sending a couple hundred volts through my wrist with every bite. Still, six months later, I can not eat tortilla chips. It just hurts.”

The way it works is through electric stimulus or classical conditioning that is scientifically proven with 80+ years of testing to be extremely effective at habit change. Pavlok has just two parts that come together, the module and the wristband. The wristband is lightweight, durable, and one size fits all. Where the module is customizable but a small battery type that fits inside the wristband and is the actual tool the releases the shock or vibration. With bluetooth technology, the user is able to shock themselves whenever they are tempted to use the device or they can set a time if they would like to wake up early or break bad work habits.

You can see testimonials of users that have tried to device right on their website and you can also make a purchase of the wristband as well.

Pavlok is a starting company that created the Pavlok wristband to help break bad habits through the Pavlov Law of electric stimulation.
